Question: According to plato, is there a possibility for a happy life!?

The bible didn't even exist when Plato was alive!

Stupid person!

Plato thought that through logic, and reasoning, one could achieve a type of liberty!. I guess you can call that happiness if you want!.

Happiness is what ever person strives for, but it is also considered the end by many philosophers!. There is nothing better than happiness and once your reach that there is nothing else to look forward to!. I don't think anyone experiences true happiness when they are a live!. They experience moments of happiness or fulfillment, but no one is happy all the time!.

I am not sure of Plato's actual thoughts on happiness, but I know that Socrates and Aristotle had theories on how to achieve happinessWww@QuestionHome@Com

if its according to plato it is possible to have a happy life but only when we reach the world of ideas, we could only be happy outside of this world!. this world for plato is imperfect, with it he divided form and matter, in his theory of dualismWww@QuestionHome@Com
