That which is not innate, is learned!.

We can learn from teachers, or from whatever metaphysical methods we find productive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not a philosopher so maybe I don't understand rationalist!.

I believe I am rational and I don't believe any knowledge is innate - meaning hard-wired in the brain from birth!. All knowledge is acquired!.

What IS innate, in my view, is the facility to acquire knowledge - as well as skills, such as driving and riding a bicycle!.

Young minds are much more ready to acquire certain skills and knowledge than older minds!. Examples are walking and langauge!. We are developmentally primed to acquire these skills at certain stages in our development and it is much harder to acquire them later if we "miss the boat" at the time we are primed to acquire these abilities!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is an easy one, it is learned, such as religion, and faith, or even fear and distrust!. It is acquired, such as that which is the taste for olives, in some, lol Www@QuestionHome@Com

The rest of our knowledge comes from the knowledge that certain knowledge is innate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
