Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: How philosophical!. For one, know that we resist temption everyday, do we not!? Temptation is a wide, grand tree with many dark branches!. Say, for example, you get really pissed off at someone, and you just want to slap them in the face!. Is that not temptation!? But you don't, because society and general rule put things in place to stop temptation happening!. When you lose care of the consequences, that's when you give in to temptation!. Because in reality, anyone can do anything, can they not!? I could stop typing this now, go up to one of my colleages and strange them, and keep doing so until they died!. Anyone can do anything, and all it is is instinct, and rules stopping us!. Though mainly, it depends on your morale as a person!. You could steal a loaf of bread from a man who had a family to feed in order to feed your own family!. Would that be right!? To you it may be, but to him it wouldn't!. As for the decision of, "Should I, shouldn't I!?", such a situation can never exist, because from the off you know what you're going to do, and unless someone unfluences you, there is really no need to contemplate!. In answer to your question, to decipher it further, "times like this", times have always been like this, and always shall be, there shall be the rich, the poor, the starving, because that's how the world works!. It's all to do with consequence, which, ultimately, is fate!. So do that thing, give in to that temptation, because obviously you only live once, and if sullying someone elses existance aids your own, why not!? But if you want to do the constitutionally the "correct" thing, then do not give in!. Stand for yourself!.
