Question: Assuming we had no prior knowledge, could we still know where thought takes place in the body!?
If I think about it, I can sort of tell where my thoughts are taking place!. If I ignore all prior knowledge about thought, I can FEEL that it isn't in my feet or in my hands, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We could assume it takes place in the head or brain, because we become aware of our inability to think nomally whenever we experience head aches or head injuries!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most of your sense (except for touch of course) are centered in your head!. Your eyes, ears, nose, taste buds, are all clustered around the brain!. This is where we get the idea that we are "located" in our heads -- that's where all the reports from the outside world arrive!

If your brain were located in your right foot, but all the sense organs were still where they are -- the situation would require unnecessarily complicated neuronal wiring but ignore that for a second -- don't you think you would still FEEL located in the head!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

thats a question i think too!. jews i think beleive the heart is inthe miind/brain but i heard once that the heart is in the liver or something!. theres a book called the secret gospel of thomas and in the back it goes into very strange wisdon of beings that created all the human parts!. its worth a read and is very good to have read!.

thats besides the belief of the soul 2Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are assuming that it does because you first give the body power and identity!. But our bodies are neutral, sensory organs to experience the physical world in a certain way!.
People with out of body experiences know that the body isn't even necessary for thought!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, I don't think I would be able to know that thoughts take place within my brain with no prior knowledge!. I would assume my head as well, but instead, because of the fact that that is where I my eyes are situated!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would say that knowledge, in the ancient times, came from the heart but if I had no prior knowledge i would say the mouth or the hands as with hands we wouldn't of been able to experiment thus learning from itWww@QuestionHome@Com
