All I can say is I did!.

Most people find someone!. Many are even happy!. A true soulmate is rare to find, and if this person is truly your soulmate they will recognize you too!. If they don't then it's not the one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

to answer that is to say you already know who your soul-mate is and how they will be!. If you do that you will only be looking for that type of person and you'll throw out anyone who doesn't come off as how your soul mate should be according to your preconception!. By doing so you could very well be casting aside he or she who is the one meant for you, though you are not aware of it!.
We are all filled with prejudices and del;usions that skew our realities and make us think something is good or bad right or wrong!. nobody is perfect and we all live in some degree of denial unless we are entirely self-realized (and we really aren't) Therefore we cannot know with absolute certainty who it is who can be the best person for us!. Perhaps there is no best person and we all have to settle, perhaps the settling is part of it; something we all need to do!? I would have to say no!. I have been a couple of relationships where we were both convinced we were soul mates & while I continue to believe I did know these people in a past life quite closely, I do not believe either of them was that one true "soul mate"!. We were just "connected" from past-lives!. I no longer am looking nor waiting for my "soul mate" to come into this life & quite content to have it this way!. I don't think that I would recognize him, I mean how!? it takes time for us to know if they are our soulmates, and even sometimes we can think we have found them and then a few months later divorce!. Yes!. In fact, we already met!. Its difficult to explain but i recognized him not because of how he looked physically but how i felt ever since we met!.
