Hope gives you something to look forward to another day!. It strengthens the will to keep living and bearing the pains of today, because within is a belief of a chance to be better tomorrow!. It is also entrusting an unknown future to a more powerful force than you!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I kind of do because: we hope, we wait!. It's like were waiting for nothing!. It requires patience, the virtue that some of us don't have!. So without patience, its practically useless because you're waiting and you'll give up easily!. And the longer, the worse!. And the deeper the torment we'll get!. The more of suffering!. I certainly agree!. Expecting something to happen in the near future, is reasonable, but Hope!.!.!. all this anticipation, the longing, it is a torment for sure!. Yet, I can't resist Hoping!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hope is an emotional state and can be either rational hope (optimism) or irrational hope (delusion)!. As in many cases, the context of usage in a particular situation will tell you whether the 'torment' was worth it!.!.!.
