How can that be so!? It is consciousness that invents God, love, justice, and all other logos or other possible organizing principles!. However, living the human experience on this side of the inexpressible unknown suggests that love, as compassion, is a reasonable and practical response to just about any situation we can know!. So no, it does not pre-exist but it is one of those useful organizing principles that keep us from killing each other!. A little wisdom tells us that love and hate must co-exist equally in consciousness!. A little more wisdom lets us know that neither exist at all!. Find that place and all action will be authentic and peaceful and understanding of the human condition yet not based on love!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Love does not exist as a physical contract or stimulated emotion of the brain, but rather as a collection of selfless acts of real devotion for someone else!. The actions exist in the moment and are factual events forever!.
