im in CA too!. lol funny u mention HMB, i have a friend from there!. he says its a piece of crap little town with nothing to do!.

anyways, maybe try to solve the things on your mind!. if they are insolvable keep trying to solve them anyways!. your mind will get tired and you will fall asleep!. that's usually how i always fall asleep!. with things on my mind!. when i lay down in my bed, i think of things!. it can be anything, preferably a fantasy!. or even a plan to make that fantasy come true!. regardless, you'll be asleep before you even get too far in your thoughts!. that's how well it works!. sometimes its frustrating because i actually do want to think about things when before i sleep!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know what you mean, its after 3 here!. Put them on a shelve!. All thoughts and cares of yesterday and tomorrow!. Take some deep breaths and say to yourself that I am releasing all cares, tensions and woes with each breath!. And deeply inhale, exhale!.
Then lay on your bed that pray that God give me rest and protect me in everyway!. Think of relaxing by the beach, or listening to a brook run its path!. This is when those sound machines help if you don't have a vivid imagination!. Make sure the room is dark so you wont get your eyes focusing on anything that needs to be done!. Then it you dont feel relaxed, start with you head, and say (and do) I relax my head to sink deeply into this pillow!. Deep breaths!. I relax my neck, Breath, I relax all the weights of the world off my shoulders!. Then I relax my chest that my breathing ebs and flows like life!. I relax my pelvix that all tension is out of my hips!. Relax each arm and hand!. Then each leg!. Think of being completly relaxed!. Breath!. Slow and deep!. Exhale slowly, completely!.
Sleep!.

Forget your identity and do meditation!. Your things in mind will work out on its own!. The rest you get out of meditation is more than sleep!. One derives 4:1 benefit out of meditation and sleep!. I mean meditation gives four fold rest!. It ill work whether it is California or schizophrenia!.Www@QuestionHome@Com


Follow your breath!. In and out!. It will be boring and your mind will drift back to other things, but if you can catch yourself just return to the breath!. also, notice your chest rising and falling!. Listen to the sound around you!. This will help to slow your mind down!. Each time your mind goes back to thoughts gently redirect yourself back to the breath!. I live in California and I usually read to get to sleep, they say that it keeps a lot of people awake but not me, you can give that a try and if not you can always drink a red bull or two and just pull an all nighter and then in the morning you can sleep light a little baby!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
