Question: Don't people become doctors because they believe in themselves!?
Someone in high school decides she's going to become a doctor!. But there's no doctor yet!. Just a potential one!. You can't PROVE there's a doctor!. But that doesn't mean that doctor is a flying spaghetti monster or an invisible pink unicorn!. For that doctor to eventually exist, that girl has to 1!. believe in herself; 2!. sacrifice; 3!. work for it, for a long, long time!.

Suppose she just sat around clucking smugly at medical students, dissing them for believing in something that doesn't exist, since those medical student clearly are not doctors!.

Mostly you're right!. However, you don't have to necessarily believe in yourself to achieve something!. Maybe your motivation is a little different!. What if she comes from a family of doctors and is pressured into it!. Maybe she feels a need to achieve it due to some outside influence!. Either way, she definitely isn't going to get it without working for it!. If her attitude was that bad, she probably wouldn't even be in medical school anyway!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
