That's what Buddhist monks struggle to achieve , selfless image, levitation, you evaporate into thin air!. I have actually tried to imagine being nothing several times over the periods of a decade or more!. The impetus for my efforts was a movie that presented sensory deprivation as a part of it's theme!. I have made the effort for as long as 5 to 8 hours at a time in some sessions!. The effort was not a waste, but there was no discernible progress as a result!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, the closest I have come to 'being' nothing is having almost no emotions!. Emotions are a main part of our lives so without them you are missing a big chunk of something making you that much closer to nothing right!? Did you get that!? So with that, I can imagine being nothing!. But everyone has a different view of what being nothing is!. For some it may be being dead!. Others the world coming to an end!. For me, I am just withing reach of being nothing!. Like a zombie, walking around but not knowing why he is here!. Sad thing is I like this!. I guess for me the closer I am to evaporating the more I like it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

to imagine being nothing is still using your mind's imagination, which wouldnt be the absence of mind!. being truly nothing would bring you back to being everything, peel every layer of the onion until you get to the center!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
