The simple answer from me is no, but the proposition does raise a dilemma of a question for the thought, as why should I say no to such a gift when I could have said yes equally simply!? I hope you will appreciate this, as I appreciate that one has to make up one’s mind in response, this way or that, but why this way, and not that!?

For an explanation, let me point out just one fact that I have in my view, that is, when we dream of living forever, as your question proposes here, we assume that life is temporary, we assume that life is terminal, it is bound in time and one day all this is going to come to an absolute end!.

But I do not think this is what we all naturally and therefore really believe in!. I think within the inner recesses of our mind and heart we might not be religious but religiously believe that life means for us forever, i!.e!. there is life beyond this life, as however time and tide may affect us in their passing making us old and weary till the time we die there is something within, the essence, or the soul, that never dies, something that is beyond the appliance of time and causes of all materialistic existence!.

Then your questions also proposes to imagine a life of eternal youth and wellbeing, which is somewhat closer to the reality of life as the essence of human in my belief never grows old!. What really grows old in us is our heart and mind that are interfaced between the world of our essence and the physical world of constant change, a world where all things change, come to their fruition and then decay!.

I have a suspicion that this discussion might linger on for long time therefore I come to my conclusion by saying that both our mind enjoys life partly because its enjoys change alongside the things of its world, and partly because its holds a belief that life is forever, i!.e!. the mind exists in between!.

If the mind is unable to experience change than then however youthfully it might be fixed it will certainly be dead in real sense of the it world, and for the purpose of its essence too; it would be like the mind of a marble statue, so to speak!.

The same way as your choice!. Something will never make me fulfilled inspite of immortality!. It will be unfair to all loved ones if ever!. They had suffered and passed away but I still remain ageless!.
Yet if in case, I will ever know that they will reincarnate to give us greater chances to be together again in some coincidental blessings!. I might think about it and wait for them again to come across to eachother's paths!.
It will be another great option to continue our love and relationship with eachother!.!.

Boredom would creep in pretty quickly and as you suggest the same option wouldn't apply to other loved ones it would be rather horrid - which makes it a definite No!. It also puts me off the idea of eternal bliss in heaven - being happy all the'time' where time ceases to exist !!?

I guess, no!. Even though, if I did, I would be able to see what will happen!. How life will be 2000 years from now, how nephews of nephews will grow!. See the whole family tree!. But, what happens when I fulfill those tasks!?

I hate the idea of dying but I'll still say no!. As previous people have said you'd have to see all your friends and family move on without you!. And eventually you'd grow tired and weary and you'd have to watch the world change and you'd feel like you didn't belong!. i couldn't There would be no way that i could live forever and watch everyone i loved and care about die around me, it hurts enough as it is now without knowing that i will see everyone die!.
