Yes and No!. If someone kills a guy and was the only one around, technically the guy is dead, but in the minds of others, especially if the body isn't found, then it's just another mystery!. The killer can also convince himself that it never happened!. That's a very good question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If a man shot himself!.!.!. /or a stray bullet got him/ then there was no one to see it!.
But God!. God knows what happened!.
Just because you or me don′t know it, does not mean it did not happen!.
There is zillions of things happening on this planet every second and we don′t know about it!.

yes, the trees heard it, the earth on the ground moved and the corpse remained untouched but disintegrated into the mud, affecting the biochemical rhythm of the woods, it did happen and scientist can prove it!.
