God is only a mythical story to put fear in us!. and order us to be good!.

A better world!. No!. A perfect world, is one without religion!. People fighting over Bible or Koran stories invented by man!. Then they kill each other over who is right!. It's unnatural to me!. The Americans taking the land from the Indians; raping, killing, enslaving!.!.!. by order of God!. The Muslims killing the Americans for perhaps a two chapter difference in their Bible the Koran!. So much hatred over a simple point of view!.

I say people should change themselves!. Be good to their standards and because that's the right way to live!.!.!. for them!. Because it makes them happy!. Just because you believe something is true, it doesn't make it so!. We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are!. You shouldn't kill!.!. and spread fear to make others believe too!. Make your own rules and shut people out if they don't follow!?

One day i hope to see the world reed of these religions and of their Gods!. Finally united!. But one can only hope!.!.!.!. to see a better worldWww@QuestionHome@Com

I see religion just being a moral thing, something to look forward to after life!. I don't have a religion, I have a belief (nihilism), and like the person above stated, if we lived in a world with god or gods then the world would be completely different!. I do like religion to some extent, it gives people something to live for, because if everyone found out you just die, there is no heaven or hell, then what is the point to be a good being!? But is has also brought war, genocides, and such to this world!. So to answer once more, I don't believe in god and I love the world I'm living in right now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To quote Epicurus:

“If God is willing to prevent evil, but not able, then he is not omnipotent!.
If able, but not willing, he is malevolent!.
If he is both able and willing, why does evil exist!?
If neither able nor willing, why call him God!?”

So if you believe in God and you believe in evil, then God is the devil!.
If you believe God is not all powerful you believe in something that isn't a god!.

My answer is that everything is of God, good and evil are just interpretations!. Having a "good and evil" or having a universe that we lucked out to exist in, are not all that far apart!. So belief in God is not all that relevant to life being a good experience!.

For those who believe in dualism (God can't fix everything, free will, the devil, all that nonsense) the world is a more interesting place, but you can't look at things rationally or it all falls apart!. Dualism is untenable!. See Epicurus above for why!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i'm a believer

again, life is a test
it's our choice
or else
why He created us
He wants to test
who will make the right choice despite of all chaos
and that person shall cherish in the end

i would like to share a story

there was a barber, and a man
the man was telling that he does not believe in god
because if there is
there shouldn't be poverty, war, evil, and so on
the barber kept shut, for he doesn't want to start a dispute
once he was finished- the man walked out of the shop
and he saw an other man, with an unbelievably long, dirty hair
so he went into the shop again
and ask the barber
"is there any barber in this city, because just now, i saw a dirty man with long an trimmed hair"

try to comprehend this story
and comment =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

if this is a world wih a so called god i'd love to see a world without one, just imagine it, no religeon, no wars over disbelief, but maybe im wrong maby it would be worse, but id still love to see it though (if this world had a god that is)Www@QuestionHome@Com

i believe in God but not the way religion defines Him!.I have my own perception of him!.I think he is a pwer, superior to us!.i don't know if he intervenes in our lives and helps us when things are difficult,i hope he does!.It's more appropriate saying that I WANT to believe in GodWww@QuestionHome@Com

We are already living in a world without God!. Don't you think so!? Look at Iraq, Afganistan, Vietnam, North Korea, Russia, et cetera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
