Question: What is the value of nonsense!?
What is your motivation for answering with nonsense!? For example "I like pie"!. Besides getting 2 points on YA!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Um 2 points aside, I may not answer nonsensically!.

The value of it, in it's varied defining points and context, in my opinion, is that it can distract us from things otherwise detaining or detouring us!. I like Pie too BTW!.

Judging the "sense" of anything is an opinion, relative perhaps only to the Pie lover, and might have no effect on converting them to cake!.

My personal motivation for nonsense is often a defense, against those things most burdensome, that I probably have no control over anyway!.

They believe they are being funny or cute!. It is an attempt at being witty, and a miserable failure!.

also, some people get validation out of those 2 points!. As though having a large number of points on their profile mean anything in life!. We live in a quantitative society where ratings and place in life has been reduced to numbers, and more is better!. More numbers means they gave more answers, which means they feel smarter and more special!.

Isn't it adorable!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
