You may be just wondering for not all cats could do that things!. However doing an unusual thing that most cats don't do is something Amazing!. But i would not call it an abnormal!. I wonder if the person who coined that phrase had a cat very similar to yours!. All cats have different personalities, so what is normal for one cat is abnormal for another!. Consider things from the cat's point of view!. The top of the fridge is a great place for a cat that has the ability to get there and down again safely!. It is an excellent location from which to observe her domain and the people that she allows to dwell in it!. And it may vibrate slightly like a good message chair and be slightly warm due to the heat exchanger in the back!. As for opening bags, how can one observe the contents of such a mysterious enclosure, and investigate it's potential for hiding and stalking prey unless one opens it!. Most cats prefer to use their nefarious mind control techniques in order to have their minions (a!.k!.a!. humans) to open doors for them, and would not deign to dirty their paws with such a menial task!. However, there are times when their minions are not around, or are just too thick-headed for kitty mind control techniques!. Printer!? Ah, that thing that the minions sometimes play with, it belongs to the cat and therefor it should come to life and make sounds and move things at the whim of it's kitty owner!. One of my previous feline owners, when observing that I was typing on a keyboard, would on a whim, leap up to the desk, saunter across between me and the monitor and lay down across the keyboard and my hands!. There is no rationale that a Cat wants us to understand, so perhaps in that sense they are far advanced from us Philosophically!. Normal is a judgement of yours or of our species, totally unaware of the context and concepts a Cat uses in their daily lives!. If the Cat chose to be "normal" they might actually come when called, fetch the ball, wag a tail, but they choose to be mysterious, keep us questioning, while enjoying the fact that we don't really get it!. Obviously they are more curious than a Dog, perhaps more than a human, and they explore!. To attempt understanding them, the best policy is to enjoy them, and that we can't understand!.
