Good question however, it is exactly the question that will render the "meaning of life" - which you say you do not want!. You could similarly ask correctly "Who is the one who Does Not Know Life!." No one can just tell you who the one who knows life is - best answer wins!. There are pointers to the "answer" just as someone can point to the moon!. However, be careful not to keep looking at the finger that points to the moon but instead find the moon itself!. The answer will be both intensely personal and entirely impersonal and there is no mistaking this answer to your question when it is understood!. It is not spiritual - it is "before" any spiritual concepts - all spirituality is conceptual, changeable, subject to revision, interpretation etc!. and does not answer your question with any finality!. It is a paradox that must be grasped by intuition, so don't settle for spiritual conceptual answers as they are the finger pointing, not the real thing!.

To try to lead a better life would be like furiously mopping the deck of a sinking ship!. The harder you try, the more life has passed you by!. But still this is not the complete truth of who knows and it is not as nihilistic as it first may seem!. Everything is life, in it's fullness, including each moment spent feeling or thinking that it is somehow not life in it fullness!. It is entirely impersonal!. The intuition that each snowflake falls nowhere else and without spiritual purpose or reason yet as the expression/understanding of completeness, reveals 'who' knows this moment of life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your life is different than mine, therefore I can not "know" your life better than you!. I believe everyone has their own sense of "knowing" life, and should always remain that way!. What if everyone lived in a life where everyone "knew" everyone else's life!? It's unique, eccentric, fascinating to learn about different lives!.!.!. Don't rely on some old wise crack who thinks he/she "knows" the meaning of life and what it's all about because they have hundreds of stories!. Build your own "knowing" of life!. No one!. and the one who says s/he knows life , he or she knows nothing!.
If you know something you ignore other things!. You cannot know everything about life!. In order to know life , you have to know every single detail of life's secrets and aspects, which is not possible in my opinion!.
A scientist knows about science!. An astronaut knows about astronomy!. A diver knows about the deep seas!. In other words, you cannot "know" about something in life if you don't experience it!. So I believe that knowledge is attached to experience!.

all those great humans buddha,krishna,mahavira,confusious know how to led there life,they understand what is life!?
life is for purpose and to live happy
meaning of life is a purpose,without purpose life is meaning less!.

1 according to indian philosophical schools like vedanta,mimamsa,vaisesika,yoga
there are 4 aim of life or we can call purpose
to achieve

1 kama - sexual pleasures with the wife

2 artha - to have economic stability and to have money because we cant survive without money!.

3 dharma- this is the most important,dharma means duty,everyhuman being had to fullfill his duty or dharma
the duty of a soldier is to fight war against enemy
the duty of a teacher is to teach
my dharma at present is to give you a great answer

4 moksha- to have liberalition from all suffrings and to get united with god!.

according to indian athiest school like carvaka
they considered only 1 purpose of life

1 enjoyment of life and to earn money
they think that a human should enjoy his life and should mazimize pleasure nad minimize pain and after death everything became 0,so enjoy life
those priest who go to forest for meditation act like idiot,they do it to get freedom from suffrings that is possible only after death,after death there will be no problem!.

so my brother our purpose in this world is to live life happy and in a peace ful mannar and to fight against to do hard work in our life and to achieve something in life
after death everything became 0000000000,so our purpose is to enjoy life to the maximum to exten and should perform great deeds!.

To attempt "knowing life" as you put it, Life must be experienced, and in our species, that might still leave us confused!.

With learning, and some retention, we might attain knowledge!. If we are fortunate, knowledge might lead to wisdom, but still be singularly different for each or any of us!.
