Virtual photons!. They're too quick and evanescent to register as physical light, yet their impact (trillions per atom) supports the electrons in their orbits!. Without virtual photons, our atomic universe could not exist!.

The Host of Light at Garabandal, Spain, was not physical in the sense that its predicted coalesence in thin air transected laws of physics!.

The decoherence of solitons may occur without physical energy or mass causation!. "The Mindful Universe," Henry P!. Stapp, Ph!.D!.

"Psychoenergetic Science," Dr!. William A!. Tiller, http://www!.tiller!.org also finds quantum states influenced by human intentionality, a type of semi-causal, semi-physical activity!.

Nearly nothing that is 'human' can really be described as physical!. The numbers are not physical!.

Neither is society, culture the links between how humans live their lives now and anything in their evolutionary environment is very tenuous at best!.

The pleasure of music has no direct analogy in nature!.

The human ability to conceive of technology and experiences outside of their experience or any experience (abstract extrapolation) is non-material!.

my favorite example of the nonmaterial is Platos allegory of the cave where the reality of specific objects (such as a chair) all should take their existence from a concept that is _more_ real but also abstract!. (The idea of 'all chairs or things that can be used as chairs')!. That the concept of chair is everywhere becomes immediately apparent to all who use a chair, but where then does this concept (or form as it is called) reside!? Not in the mind, but if not there, then where!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh dear!. You are getting a few "noting is real" answers!.

What is "real" is an agreed subject based upon certain criteria!.

Are emotions real!? My answer to that is that we *agree* to accept emotions as existing simply on the basis of them being a shared and useful concept, just like ideas and thoughts!.

They do not exist in the sense that a table or a car exist!. Metaphysical references are just that, they are based upon language, we are free to accept that a concept has value if we have a use for it!.

Do things like gods exist!? It depends what attributes we assign to the word "god"!. If we say that a god affects the physical world then that god has some physical attributes so must meet the same qualifications as the table and the car, if we say that a god is a feeling or an influence then yes, that god does exist!. But then I don't see the validity of the word 'god' it's far simpler to just use the original words of "emotions" and "feelings"!.

Metaphysical subjects only exist if we agree to give them some validity in our communications, they do not exist outside of the human condition - unless you include evidence of their side-effects and cause through things like brain scans, crying, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your feelings!. Show them to me!. We can describe things and demonstrate them secondarily, but direct evidence of the physical properties of an emotion are quite different!. Thoughts, beliefs, values as well all lack the basic properties of the physical world!.

A physical object has 3 dimensions, weight, height and depth!. My beliefs have none of these qualities!.

there is nothing physical only little things for the eyes of those too shallow to see what's inside!. A man is no body but a soul, a Box is no box but energy, our eyes should not see molecules together but see bonds and attachment, see a life inside this too close atoms striving for existence
anyway i can babble on, all i gotta say that i believe only little is physical and for those who want it to be so and if they see what's internally that's the base or the core of it's existence!.!.!.!.
i once heard that "we that we are all made of energy" and i made fun of it till i actually came to seeing it for real, it's funny but so over whelming when thought of!

Nothing is physical - in physics, nothing arouund us is real, we are all just particles in space, constantly moving and changing!. Colour doesnt exist - only light makes us decipher what we see as colourWww@QuestionHome@Com

If it takes up space it's physical, you have to determine what is and isn't mass!. People will have differing views on this matter as you will have noticed!. lol!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
