Question: Do you think it's possible to paint a song!?
what song have you wanted to paint and what would it look like!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I would paint Yesterday, and it would look like a tree too high to climb, with bright fairies and lurking shadows all just out of reach!. The sky would be rain and sun and ice, non touching ground, and all the world would be ruled by a clock with streetlight hands!.

Consider every music video!. That's what the author of the song, (if they had anything to do with the video), felt was appropriate!.

Sometimes, it's the case that the video or painting is strongly associated with the imagery for many reasons!.

So with the old song Orinoco flow , I always picture the stop-motion animation of the original Enya video!.

Similarly, I was so struck by the combination of two incongruous elements in the short video "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim, that I crack up every time I hear this video and remember Christopher Walken flying around the 4 Seasons in LA!.

In this way, it's considered Iconic when you can make two or more things identifiable with each other!.

So in this way, you can have comedy by mixing up two elements which our preconceptions don't think should go together!.

So consider how disturbingly funny this is if all you know the Imperial Grenadiers for is playing "God Save the Queen"

I'd paint it with a girl with long blonde hair stood on a cliff with her arms spread and eyes closed, with a blue sky and flowers on the clifftops!. She'd looked calm and content with the breeze blowing her hair to one side- like she's on top of the world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
