Question: Should we stop making sense!?
This one has noticed that the majority of persons answering on this forum (i!.e!.; Yahoo Questions and Answers in general) prefer to make flippant, off the cuff remarks that appear to possess little if any insight and into which no real thought was placed!.
Others give a great deal of thought and present reasons, logic, examples, citations and effort into their replies, most of which appear to go unread and definitely don't seem to be appreciated!.
Would it be wiser course of action and possibly more beneficial to all others to "play the game" and actually say nothing or should one give the best answers that he or she can!?

You should try and always give the best answer you can!. Whether or not it is read or appreciated is really irrelevant!. You can't control that, but you CAN control what you put out into the world!. After all, it's probably better not to speak unless speaking improves on the silence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Generally I find it better when I get a few serious and thoughtful answers, but I think some people do really enjoy the funny answers a lot!. I know I do, though I might not give them a BA when a well thought out answer is given!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Sincere questions should be thoughtfully answered!. There are a few people who pose flippant or nonsensical questions and to those, if interested, should be answered in like form!. Blessings on you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sure, but that's okay!.
People are at various stages awareness in all sortsa spheres!.
Some of us think; some of us make the flippant remark; some of us are wannabe comedians; some of us are deep and some of us are shallow!.
I'm fairly sure I've slotted into each of those roles at stages!.
I think the important part is that we're here!.
I know that most of the stuff I write may not be read BUT on one occasion it maybe read by someone who wants a little stepping stone to some place else and even though I won't hear about it, the thought it may occur is enough for me!.
Of course ultimately, I am here cos I like exploring my own mind and what happens when I push a thought!.
I'm pretty shallow and self-centred!.
