Question: What do you believe in these circumstances!?

So, I have ben in the discussion of abortion for a long time!. I am not having one I just want to know everbody's opinion!. If a girl is raped and becomes pregnant, do you believe that she should have the CHOICE of abortion!. I think so!. But I completely agree with the fact that if you give consent then you MUST have that baby!. What is your opinion!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

My opinion is that of the United states Supreme Court--a woman should have the right to decide what happens to her body!.

However, I personally feel that consensual sex that results in conception should not be terminated by abortion!. The partners made a decision to have sex and should be prepared to assume the responsibilities should a pregnancy occur!.

I would absolutely permit abortions for rape and incest victims!.

I pretty much agree with those rules!. !. !. for me!. Other people should be able to chose when they abort!.
Plus, I hear a lot of poeple saying abort only in the case of rape but in order to do that a woman is going to have to prove that she was raped!. The number of women who get raped every year and the number of women who can actually get help and can have the police build a case against the offender is greatly different!. And a lot of young women, teenagers feel pressured into doing it- there are ways of almost forcing people to do things without actually physically forcing them but verbally and psychologically!. What if the condom breaks or that one pill did not work for some reason!? I know there's a lot of people out there who are just ignoring protection but the bottom line is, there are a lot of people who aren't!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

People , female or male, should be responsible for their actions !. They should be able to own up to it!. If one is irresponsible and the other is helpless ( as in the case of a rape) , I think, the victim should have the choice to take the next course of action !. The society and the law punishes the gulity but looks the other way when it comes to handling the victim!. All male made laws!
On consensual situations if the partner does not agree to share theresponsibilty but accepts the issue the girl has the choice to go ahead having the baby!. But it is a tough life and why should one of the partners go scotfree and the other has the total responsibility!?

I think all women should have a choice!. However I do believe there should be a limit!. Women that use abortion as a form of birth control I think should be punished!. Regardless of the situation, if it is your first abortion I think you should have the right to chose!.

I think in cases of rape and incest, abortion is totally acceptable!. However, I also think that "regular" abortion is acceptable too, as long as it is not constantly used as birth control!. People say life begins at conception, but in reality, at that point it is just a mass of cells, not a person!. It can't form a coherent thought, have emotions, etc!. But once you get about halfway through your pregnancy, you shouldn't be able to get an abortion because by then, it is basically almost a human being and ceases to be just a mass of cells!. I think that abortions need to be harder to get and you should get one "get out of jail free" card!. Once you get that first abortion, you shouldn't be able to get another one or you should have to have your tubes tied!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What you proscribe is that the law be used to force people to behave in a manner that we consider to be right!. Too bad, the law does not force parents to be good parents!.

Not only should she be forced to be a parent, but she should be forced to raise that child as an atheist with secular views!.

It's a human life!. Just because you were raped doesn't mean that child is any less deserving to be put on earth!. Some women choose to have the baby because it's the only one they'll ever have!. I do believe that the choice should be there, and if she doesn't want to carry the baby through the pregnancy, then it's likely that she'll find some way to abort whether or not there are adequate facilities (such as if abortion becomes illegal)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
