The internet, television, magazine, working, socialising if found to be wanting are considered a waste of precious time!. Travelling in search of inspiration to gain the greater consciousness allowing man to find beauty and adventure in his ordinate and mundane chores is a blessing!. The Internet is a wonderland as is YouTube!. I have watched so many conflicting and awesome wonders on YouTube!. Be headings, autopsies, pornography, murders, massacre, love songs, poetry, great thinkers and philosophers, high drama, the intelligentsia, lions killing a giraffe, the true and devout followers of all faiths and religions, how to DIY with success, Delia Smith’s guide to perfect roast potatoes and Elvis The King of Roc and Roll, wow !.!.!. all gathered together under the indiscriminate umbrella of YouTube particle of the greater and diverse Internet!. So much to learn of life !.!.!. learnt and yet the mind remains in want !.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The internet was made to find knowledge in the quickest way possible; of course those who created it didn't account for laggers, multiple entries about the same thing which come at it from different angles, spam, and those unsolicited IMs/PMs you get while you search, so wasting time has become one possible result of being on the Internet, but it wasn't the original purpose of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not really, when we have 168hrs available for the week, 56hrs spent in sleeping, and you spend 3-4 times, 3 hrs each time on it!. So a weekly total of say 12hrs of learning so many useful things and also honing on the language is much better than 12hrs of idle talk, boozing away at the pubs, gazing out the window at chicks passing by, or scratching our bodies!.I would strongly recommend that any person having a desire for knowledge, regardless of age, should use the Internet in a moderate way, and not neglecting other vital activities in life!. Sad part is that we know better, but were all falling for it!. Not many people write letters any more, I personal think that we have more time to waste, now that we have computers, What happened to family time! I'm as guilty as everyone else, but we all have a power button (off) we can push, and it works like magic!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

That is a very good question!. With out computer's everyone would be doing something else in order to past time!. Me my self only stay on the computer for about 30 mins a day!. But that still does not explain what our world would be like with out computers!. I don't know but that is a very good question!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The internet was invented by state colleges to transfer resource data amongst themselves, upon discovery that it could be used for far greater purposes, it was expanded!.

It is if what you do in front of a pc monitor is just looking and typing!. For me, my time is not wasted because while doing something on a PC I also thinking of something useful, good etc etc!.!.!.Without PC I would rather read or write!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
