Question: Are we all just "beautiful liars"!?
Parents lie to their children who lie to their parents!.
Patients lie to their doctors who lie to their patients!.
Teachers lie to students who lie to teachers!.
Lawyers, judges, ministers, priest and rabbis, salesmen, advertisers, the butcher, the baker and the candle stick maker, poets, musicians, artist, prophets, psychics, lovers, scientist, and, of course, politicians!.
As heart breaking as it is, as demoralizing as it is, it does appear to be true that none of us tell the "truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" and that when we approach doing so, we each put our own little "spin" on it!.
We lie to one another and to ourselves in the misguided hope that our self perpetuated fantasy will become reality if only in our own minds!.
We do so for a million little reasons, hoping not to hurt someones feelings, to put something in a better light, to be polite, to be nice, or for the more usual reasons of to get what we want both how and when we want it, to have it our way!.
When discovered we have a million excuses to accompany our million reasons and we lie as we ask for forgiveness as don't really care nor believe!.
C'est la vie!

No one but a simpleton always tells the truth!. It entirely depends on who you are talking to!. When a child asks his parents what they are doing in bed, would it be appropriate for the parents to say, we do it because we really enjoy it and are trying to get you a baby brother!?
You have to consider what the recipient is going to do with the truth!. Is he honest himself or will he use it against you!? Can a slanted or dishonest question be given an honest answer!? I don't think so!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
We may be conditioned by, our ancestors, our environment or people around us, to lie!.
But Let’s not deny that lying is still a habit that we refused to quit ourselves!.
Instead of pushing the blame to others or joining the rest of the liars,
I suggest putting our effort in quitting this lying habit is much more beautiful than being a “beautiful liar”!.
Not ALL of us are "beautiful liars"!.
If I can quit, so can you!.

There's a time and place for "white lies", such as softening the truth so as to avoid injury or injuring someone else!. However, I think there are those among us who endeavor to tell the truth as much as possible!. Often I see people telling lies that are blatantly obvious -even when the truth isn't that bad!. Perhaps it has become a sort of habit in our society, but I still find it kind of baffling for people to lie at times when it's unnecessary!.

yes!.!.!. it is all about making ourselves feel bigger, better more important to someone else!. In other words it is all about ego!.!.!.!.
Once you learn to put ego aside , it is so much easier to tell the truth, because you don't worry about your ego!.!.!.!.

I don't believe we all have to lie all the time!. Time and again I have been the little child in the crowd who whispers "!.!.!.but the emperor has no clothes!" And paid for it in a thousand ways!. White lies! Yes we are indeed "beautiful liars" as you may call it!. We have to lie on some point in our lives!. There are times we have to cover up things for a purpose!. It may not be good but the intention may be useful in some instances!. I believe we have to live it!.

"Ugly & lousy liars" are losers -> nice honest people who are not good at lying, easily exploited by the people at the top!.

Yes we have perpetuated it for a long time I guess, it is all very complicated now days & expected really!.
I feel it is fairly old part of our brain that instinct, all animals perhaps have an awareness of deception in order to survive to hunt or conceal!.
I can't help but think of those birds that fake an injury to lure predators away from their nest!.
We are all fakers, camouflage comes in so many forms!.
I love & believe & respect honesty but it is maybe not natural!.
That would explain why it is more difficult for some, it goes against the grain for them almost repulsive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Odd that one can see the reflection of Nature within themselves and find it a flaw!.
Half of Natural communication is a lie!. I'm really dangerous - leave me alone!. I'm just a leaf - don't eat me!. I'm not even here - come closer my sweet lunch!.
Can't speak to the beauty of our lies!. I reckon some are cuter than others, and there's no getting around the ugly ones!.
But, demoralized!. Why bother!? Figure out who your friends are, be honest about the big things, tell the little lies that keep us sane!.
And don't forget a little 'true' love!.
Love is the fact that turns our fears to fiction!.
