I practice whenever I can!.
I actively try to change the way I look at things and the way I think!. I stop myself when I see the old patterns show!.
I read a lot and spend time digesting what I've read!.

To me its like physical exercise!.!.this mental exercise of increasing awareness!.!.I have to keep at it steady and the results come!.

I hadn't gone swimming in years, I decided to take it up again three weeks ago!. I went every morning and lapped slowly for half an hour!. My freestyle stroke was very poor and my breathing and rhythm were all off!.!.I was swallowing water!. I kept it up for two weeks and then had to take a few days off!. While off I did some reading about proper technique!. When I got back in the pool everything had improved, my strength, rhythm, breathing!.!.!.it just came to me, yet it came because of the practice!.
I find this similar to the way I practice mindfulness and awareness!.

Rita, reaching a higher level of awareness!. By what do you mean!?

There are many things that one can do, some things work for some and for others different things!. A very important one, which is probably one of the most unknown to all people is -- simply -- to remember oneself!. But this is not the remembrance that one thinks -- because people do not see themselves or feel themselves!. This is self consciousness, to triangulate the moment to redirect those divided wills into a indivisible ideal!.

And breathing -- breath is very important!. There is more, but this would involve a lot of writing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unfortunately I have only experienced a level of epiphany twice in my life and I wish I knew how it came about!. I don't know how to achieve this consciousness because it came without seeking it!. Very difficult to explain because for me it only lasted a couple of minuets (it could have been less)!. Each of these times I was alone when a feeling of exhilaration more intense than an ejaculation!. It was a realization that I was nothing and yet at the same time I was part of everything!. I knew all but this understanding did not matter because the only thing that mattered was the fact that I was elated to understand everything and this understanding made me weep with the fact that there is more to being human than what we can imagine in our wildest dreams!. I wish I could explain it better but this is something that one has to experience because words only demeans the experience!.

As a mom of a 7 and 8 year old, I am learning so much! Seriously, who remembers much of their "childhood"!? I for the first time, am myself in touch with my inner child through my children's everyday teaching! Yes, they "teach"me how to listen, how to "step back" a little bit, how to "feel and see things" through the eyes of a child!. I guess, they are teaching me quite a lot of "awareness" every single day!.

the saints have said " kaliyug keval naam adhaara simar simar nar utre paara"!.!.it means that in this age name of God is the only means except that other means are very difficult and even unattainable; just by remembering constantly one goes across!.
