Thanks so much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i wouldn't say that the western culture is aggressive as much as to say that other cultures are rather in awe of it all, the openness, the apparent freedom !.!.!. for example the Egyptian culture is being eradicated because the individuals believe that it gives them a higher status if they dress like the westerners, and if they speak English (which they try to do, and i as an English speaking person have no idea what they are saying, so i ask them to repeat it in Arabic, and my Arabic although limited is sufficient to understand what they say when they repeat it) so now they are neither Arab, nor western, they are in Limbo which is kinda pathetic!. some cultures are adamant to keep their language, traditions and folklore and i think that is admirable, it's Earth's diversity of people and cultures than make it such a colorful place, it would be so boring and lifeless if we were all the same, talked the same, looked the same !.!.!. there would be nothing left to learn! it should also be said that some cultures have tried to wipe out others, (white man in the states massacring the native Americans, and the same in Australia with the Aborigines) and although it was a long time ago (ish) it shows lack of tolerance for that which is different !.!.!. This, then leads to a sense of entitlement to impose Western views, values and customs on other cultures!. English is the language of buisness!. As people in poor countries get richer they are more likely to embrace western culture ideas such as marry later, advance the career!. The stuff they buy!. When the people of these countries get richer they are able to buy computers, newspaper, etc and are linked to the world beyond their countries borders!. It is a varying degree and state of Sodom and Gomorrah orchestrated by state and media!. Based upon extreme consumerism, sin nature and greed!. It purports no morals, honour or peace, and is driven by lust, gain and destruction!. The western education system is defunct, its industry foreign owned, it is largely discontented, stressed, diseased and as insufficient in its new found ‘emancipation’, as it was oppressed in the bonds of discipline and morality, it now is stifled by its own created free market and overwhelmed by its competitors!.
