Well that is a hard question to answer for many reasons!. First a person just born cannot be a good or bad person because if someone is good or bad they must have done something to warrant that!. Factors that are outside of a persons control [hereditary, genetics, problems caused by their birth] cannot determine their morality!. Just as the nature of an animal [or person] cannot determine its morality, because the animal or person has no control over it!.

For example, if a teenager has a child and it messes her life up, the child cannot be said to be evil because of this because he/she had no control over it, and therefore cannot be held accountable for the results!.

But I would say that most children born, with the proper nurturing grow up to be good people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If one defines selfishness as evil, then they are born as evil!. If one regards selfishness as good, then they are born good!.

Humans are born with the inate need to survive at all costs aka selfish!. They will not ignore food for another that is hungrier, they do not stop crying out of sympathy for their caretaker, they do not volunteer to stop feeding until they are no longer hungry!. They are necessarily selfish when they are born!. Any attempt to declare that characteristic as good or evil is purely subjective!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Human beings are born good AND evil!. It depends on the circumstances of our lives as to whether we take one path or the other, the advantages that we get or that are missing!. Some of the way we end up are hereditary and some of it is environmental!. But I believe there is potential good and evil in all of us!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

From the time you are born to the time you die your brain processes everything it sees, hears, smells, tastes, and touches!. Parents teach their children to love or hate!.
