Question: About facts and opinions!?
If a fact is a state of affairs that a proposition can express in a statement of fact, and an opinion is a persons attitude toward a specific proposition, then is there any one "thing' capable of alternating between the two!? if we make the distinction between the world, and language to talk about the world, then how can an opinion or a fact be genuine alternatives!? Well, any fact is an "opinion" in the sense that it is stated from a point of view (even when that POV is obscured)!. That's not a very pragmatic way to think about it, and for most purposes we can say an opinion is a judgment (subjective; differs depending on who is saying) while a fact is neutrally observed (the same according to any observer)!. But it is a very useful step to take if you are just trying to figure out what is known (and what's meant by that), and what you believe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a simple equation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
