Position:Home>Philosophy> How can you have love at first sight?Question: How can you have love at first sight!? How can you!? Wouldn't you class that as lust!? Wouldn't you be judging them by their looks and not by their personality!? I don't believe in love at first sight for this reason!. the only exceptions would be online dating or something of that sort but still, you most likely would have already be in love or you wouldn't be meeting up!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: you make a good point but from reading your question, you must be a young guy!. as you get older people tend to look at others in a different way so love at first sight is possible, life has a funny way of changing our outlook, and the lust part fades away and the IDEA of the person is what most fall in Love with!. Www@QuestionHome@Com theres different kinds/stages of love!. sexual attraction, puppy love, some kind of benevolence, and then the alleged 'true' love ---or--- lust, infatuation, compassion, unity love at first sight is certainly based on just that---sight!. ull always start with at least some level of physical attraction (at the very least, in the same way a straight man can find another man visually appealing-- like, not disfigured or grotesque etc) theres a natural progression from one kind to the next, and that flawless and constant progression from beginning to end is what earns it the title of "love at first sight"Www@QuestionHome@Com i don't believe in love at first sight,but i believe in really liking sb even if i don;t know him and no matter how handsome he is!.i see gorgeous boys everydaybut only with my current boyfriend i felt that sort of connection!.it wasn't love but it was strange!.he wasn't the prettiest boy but he had sth in the way he talked and walked,he had this style and he looked at me in such a way that from that time i thought here we are nowWww@QuestionHome@Com I believe that lust is also a part of love, like how could you not be physically attracted to someone you love!?
