Used to but much less now!. Leave the past to the experiences and memories it presented!. There is only Now!. The "past" is the past, the "future" will unfold as it does!. There is really only the Now!. In reality, time does not exist!. Only the perception of time exists!.

Memories of past bright or sour !? Yes, of course!. Yet I shift those to "gifts" of experiences and lessons, honor them, cherish some and simply leave it as that!.

I focus, pay attention, strive to make right decisions, choices so that "future" will be best honored and enhanced!. Yet, any decisions, choices are made in the moment of Now!.

Yes true!. This is because the past has been done, while the future is still unknown!. We simply can not be affected by something we haven't experienced yet!. We even envision the future according to the experiences we've had up to the present moment!. From one perspective, we are more connected with the past than the future; we're the product of it!.

also sometimes it has compulsive nature; we find ourselves ruminating all the day and maybe for weeks to come up with no result, and of course by doing so we distance ourselves from the present!. I look to the future as I search the past and apply this to the present!.

Unspiritual animals know only the past and live in the present!. Spirit-indwelt man has powers of prevision (insight); he may visualize the future!. Only forward-looking and progressive attitudes are personally real!. Static ethics and traditional morality are just slightly superanimal!. Nor is stoicism a high order of self-realization!. Ethics and morals become truly human when they are dynamic and progressive, alive with universe reality!.

I'm not sure - there seems to be an equal balance for me!. I admit that I spend !.!.!.probably too much time missing the past, thinking about it and dwelling upon it (both in good ways and bad), but I also spend a lot of time looking forward to my life and future and being very excited for it!. I can't pinpoint which I think of more!. I wish it were easier to just live in the moment and enjoy what I've got while I've got it, not wishing I could rewind or fast-forward!. Just play!. Oh yes indeed I do!. I have always know this of myself!. I have tried to change that and keep my eyes focused ahead of me, but they are always rolling back!. So much has happened in my past, and it has really destroyed me emotionally and physically!. Of course it has made me the person I am today, and for that reason I have to look back on my past and analyze it in a way!. I think that instead of focusing more on the future, we should focus on the here and now!. My past is filled with so much pain, and I am afraid of it happening again so I aliyahs think about my past to make sure I don't do it again!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why look back if you already know what is back there!. It is best that we pay attention to the road ahead to avoid missing our exit(opportunity), or even worse crash(mistake)!. We have rear view mirrors to check and remind us of what is behind(the road we came), but there is really no need to stare our the back window while driving when we are trying to get somewhere better(fulfillment)!.
