Question: Is this just the way the world works!?

I have to find accommodation, to escape an abusive situation, at home, but I keep coming up against prejudices in society, against the unemployed, and part-time employed!. I feel that it's a cycle of injustice, that the poor sink to the bottom of society, and become more subject to abuse!. I've been told this many times, by people, that this can happen, and now I'm experiencing it firsthand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes that is how society works!. That is how it has always been in large organized groups!. There are those that have and those that have nothing!. the middle class is a relatively new thing in the human experience!. The sorry truth is that someone has to be on the bottom!. Our civilization is utterly dependent, in fact our culture is built on the backs of the poor and working class!.

also, the only reason we in America have a stable middle class (well not so much any more) is because we outsource most of our suffering to places like China, India, Honduras, Indonesia, etc!. This is mostly to feed our gross consumer lifestyles!. The path we are taking as a people directly affects who we are as a species!.

No, it isn't!. To say that it's 'just the way the world works' is to lay the blame on the Universe around you, rather than on the greedy, corrupt bastards who are actually responsible for this kind of thing!. And of course, that's exactly waht the greedy, corrupt bastards WANT you to do; recognition of them for what they are is the worst thing that can happen to them!. "no DHSS" in the rent pages of the local rag annoys the hell out of me but it is a fact of life and will be for some time

Yes unfortunately it is!.!.!.Have you tried a woman's shelter !? It sucks at first but they can really help you get some financial assistance and you can get your own place!.
