You will learn that you increase your burdens and decrease the likelihood of success by taking yourself too seriously!. Nothing can take precedence over the work of your status sphere--this world or the next!. Very important is the work of preparation for the next higher sphere, but nothing equals the importance of the work of the world in which you are actually living!. But though the work is important, the self is not!. When you feel important, you lose energy to the wear and tear of ego dignity so that there is little energy left to do the work!. Self-importance, not work-importance, exhausts immature creatures; it is the self element that exhausts, not the effort to achieve!. You can do important work if you do not become self-important; you can do several things as easily as one if you leave yourself out!. Variety is restful; monotony is what wears and exhausts!. We feel like the fates are against us or something when things don't work out according to the way we wanted it to!. Truth is life is never easy as there are many difficult choices that we have to make and these choices come with obstacles!.

I'll just take a step back and stop forcing myself to face the problem or dilemma that I have, because sometimes we can see things better when we pause for a while and reflect on the actual problem!. There must always be a way out and as long as we have brains we can think of some kind of solution!. Though life might deal us a bad set of cards sometimes, it's still possible to win that set hands down should we put our minds and hearts to it!.

Opimism is the key I guess, though it's hard to keep on smiling despite our circumstances!. But still, it's better to smile than to sulk!. It'll give you less wrinkles!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Dear PC,

I get rejuvenated by going out into my garden, finding a comfortable spot and just sitting, looking at the flowers and the insects and the rocks!. I might lay down under the oaks and redwoods and look up at the squirrels running like mad, chasing and scolding each other!.!.!.

I listen to the music of the planet, and I remember who and what I am!.!.!.!. a little speck of star stuff, worrying about the tiny things that happen to me, which may wear me out, but which are a part of the package of living here on Earth!. I remember that I am made of the same stuff as the Earth, and hwo privileged and blessed I am to be here, even though it is for a brief moment in terms of the Universe!.

How lucky I am, just to sit and watch the squirrels, to smell a flower, to hold a rock and squeeze it in my hand!.

Then, I usually sing a chant, like:

We All Come From the Goddess,
and to Her we shall return,
like a drop of rain
flowing to the ocean!.!.!.!.!.
