Question: Do you think there is such a thing as justified resentments!?

Not at all!. Though it can be natural to feel resentment at first, rise to the challenge and work through it!. Taking in poison destroys you, not the other person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that if you resent someone for something or resent yourself for something, it can always be justified!. If we resent ourselves for eating that whole chocolate cake, we can always say that we worked hard for that, and we deserved it!. So we are justifying something that we resent ourselves for doing!. We also justify when we hurt someone who has wronged us!. We say that we were hurt first, so they deserved it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes there are, in the strictest definition -- yes!. But one then is to ask oneself, Now What!? We know somewhere inside ourselves, instinctively, that the force or intention that causes a wrong does in turn require of an equal response to offset the injury!. And this is plain proper, for we cannot deny a force once has it put out its cycle toward the completion of inertia of its own existence, practically as if it were actually alive!.

Wherein lies the determination on what to do is the crux of importance -- What now do we do about it and how!? we might ask!. Do we go directly to the offset in the form of an opposite intention, which action may cause interminable subsequent like cycles -- or, might we salvage that force, convert to a more benign energy and with this use it to build elsewhere, being careful not to leave voids within ourselves for which we will surely later be called to answer, a summons not subpoenaed by any other, however, but rather a call by our own better sense that somewhat hole needs filling!.

And so this is a catchy thing to negotiate, with its own learning curve!. Resentment is a valid force, is real, and we will not be mistaken to hold that resentment is a necessary extant force; it is a training device and foil for whatever aspect existent that could be its opposite!. Resentment but exists by virtue of its opposite, which force is one of Anger's children in its expressions and more important perhaps, in its impressions, one which seems to affect like that of an unceasing echo within us till these surges wane and and the feelings dissipate over time!.

And the chosen resolve may not be justified if short of availing us of any numerous options toward that of neutrality -- pulling 'that' off, though, can be a daunting thing to accomplish, for such takes in not only one's own hurt but as well the party that caused the wrong and most of all must one satisfy criteria as set by universal principles, which requires even-headed discernment and considerable temperance!. Call these two things wisdom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can quite often understand why people resnt other peoples actions!.

But It's never good to hold onto the resentment because it just wastes your time!. You spend too much time thinking negatively and it can turn you into a horrible person!.

I know this one person, as soon as you do her wrong she turns on you and holds it against you for a long long time!. She's is very mean spirited and I think a lot of it comes from resenting people!.

She resents people for little human mistakes and makes their life hell because of it!.

forgive but don't forget!.!.!.or else you will get hurt again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
