Question: Why are the end of things always sad!?
Take books for instance!. If you read a really good book you are almost sad when it is over because its a really good story!. Or life in general, when life ends it is sad!. Why do we feel the same way no matter how many times we see the same thing!? Do people become callous or numb if they see too much death!? I think of some holocaust survivors and they are some of the most intricate people ever discovered!. So why do some that are sorrowful turn into despair and don't make, whereas to some it adds the pressure necessary to make who they are!?
Is it because they have adapted into something stronger, but by doing so do they lose something they had once, like the bliss of ignorance maybe!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your question has several parts to it that I can't answer (e!.g!. the stuff about becoming numb after seeing too much death, and the stuff about the holocaust)!. But in general, I would say that when something ends we feel sad because we're losing something that was valuable to us in some way (even if it was just a good book) and we are sad because we feel that our lives were better with that thing/person in it than they will be without it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
