Question: Examples of A Priori and A Posteriori Statements!?
I have a long homework which I've managed to fight through using understanding and this is about A Priori and A Posteriori and the differences between knowing and believing, basic philosophy, but now I'm on my final question which is to name an example of an A Priori and A Posteriori statement but I don't want to produce a simple example like for A Priori- God exists or A Posteriori- the Sun will rise tomorrow!. This is the last question in my homework so can anyone please please help me think of great examples of A Priori and A Posteriori statements which are not too basic like the examples I gave!. This is philosophy, please be serious about it,Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some interesting candidates for a priori statements are what is known as the Laws of Thought

The law of Identity: A is A
The law of the excluded middle: Nothing can be both A and not A at the same time!.
The law of non contradiction: A does not equal not A

I would suggest any knowledge found via the scientific/ experimental method is a posteriori knowledgeWww@QuestionHome@Com
