I'm a data analyst who was originally trained in philosophy!. My math skills are pretty lousy, but I can still figure out how to look at, reorganize, and manipulate information based on advanced logic skills!.

A person with a background in math, statistics, or computer science might have some skills that would help, but both my boss, my previous boss who retired, and our accreditation agency has been very impressed with the results I've achieved!. I often seeing problems from angles that nobody's considered before, and I'm the one they now rely on to pay attention to the ramifications of information that most people in the program either take for granted or consider negligible!.

I may not reference any philosopher's specific works, or come up with my own theories in metaphysics, ethics, etc!., but I do still get to use some of the foundational skills!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
