Question: What do you think!!? WHAT!!!!!?
At a very young age!.!. I think before I was even 10!. I Had made the connection!.!. that God would want ME (just me you understand) to not believe in Him falsely!. I do not want to be a liar!. It would be bad for me (sinful even) to lie and say I believed in God when I do not (absolutely) know that He exists!. Tho if He DOES exist then irrefutably I'd believe in Him!.!. obviously!.
So I may or may not believe in God!.!. but I chose this so many years ago! What do you think of that!? I mean!.!. I think it follows such thinking as George Carlin hahah! I bet he'd say something along the lines of-
"And these Catholics KNOW that God exists!.!. ha! As!.!. as if they've experianced it!"

So what do you think of this!?What do you think!? And give an intellegent answer!. Not I believe it in my heart bull or the monkeys argument!.!. but sincere!. No magic happenings and God isn't some kid on an anthill!.!. well I wouldn't know cuz I HAVENT MET THE GUY!! And gdi niethr have you so stfu!

Good for you, for trusting your "god given" instinct and rejecting the idea of a personal, willful, petty, humanlike god!. God is supposed to be the divine ineffable, being itself - something you "believe in" not as a Who Out There with reasons, but some"thing" you "find" within what you are(n't), beyond all reason, intention, cause and effect!. God the guy is a sort of allusion or metaphor, because there is no other way for us to communicate about "it!." Children and literal minded people seem to get confused, thinking it's really like a guy, that all the dogma is like any other facts!. You can't tell, just by listening to "believers," whether or not they "get it" because they all have to speak about it the same way!. I just feel sorry for people who buy dogma because of their fear-motivated, Pascal's Wager type thinking, and later face a crisis of faith, and then actually do the seeking, and realize how shallow they had been!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
When I was younger, I decided that I didn't know or really care if there was a magical God floating around, watching us!. I thought it would be more important to make sure I was as caring as I could get myself to be towards other than to give myself to God completely!.
I still think religion is a very nice idea, and I love how so many people are actually helped by believing!. I just don't really give a crap myself!.!. xDWww@QuestionHome@Com

I must say you have articulated my verry!.!.!.belief i guess you would call it (although that seams wrong) rather well!. I myself have dabled if the bible and religous studies and dare i say hoped that there was a god!. but for some reason my consience has never let me prophes any kind belief in god!. Faith!. now that i do have!. i get so pissed when people tell me i dont have any faith!. i have faith that there is good in this world, i have faith that my mothers cancer will never return, and i have faith enough to congradulate those people who truely do believe in god!. which brings me to sunday christians!. you know what im talking about!. the kinds of people who are diametrical to where we stand!. they say they believe in god and they will point out the fact that they go to church or they have a tattoo of the virgin mary or a rosary and yet go through their nefarious lives lieing to themselves and others becasue if they really believed in god in sure they could at least tell me what happens in the book of revelations!.
