Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: !.!.!.YES, even now, with technology taking us faster away to another lifestyle of instant gratification and satisfaction!.!.!. !.!.!.memories of a slower and simpler time can be appreciated!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com We might have fever memories of things that we did or experience first time ever, as there always is the first time for every thing we do as part of a more sophisticated adult life but we do not remember the first time for all of them!. There are only few things that we remember!. I for instance do not remember my first time ever toy!. Or the first time ever I have saw an elephant!. This is surprising in the mind that those brilliant moment, and there are countless of them, as if have subsided into the obscurity of my subconscious mind somewhere!. I think that would be fun if I could simply recall the earliest memories of everything in my life!. On the contrary we remember more than any thing else the moments when our mind leaped forward in knowledge, ability or emotion!. We remember when we were happy, or when we were sad, or when we receive a surprising new, discovered the something new, or found out that we have passed an examination!. We remember all, or most of things of that nature!. I think therefore do believe that we have memories of a simpler life!. We keep the memories of contrasts between life when it was simple and then when it became sophisticated, or complicated!. The fact is that we often remind ourselves of such time for various purposes of the mind: to perk ourselves up, to remind us of hope, to reassure and reinvigorate, to have faith!. We use memories contrasting a simpler life with whatever followed whenever we embark on new missions or start something new!. What do you have to worry about if you grew up in a nice and safe family!? In the diaper period you poop, eat, sleep and moan!. That's pretty much the same thing men do (at any age)!. When you're a big older and go to kindergarten and elementary, you play all day or you draw and sing songs!. Once you get to middle school, it is still fairly easy!. So our lives are good up until high school! My simply life has gone now!Www@QuestionHome@Com You betcha!. I can remember when there was no tv, no mobiles, no computers [let alone internet], no cd's, no tapes or dvd's, no takeaway foods [how did we live!?], very little processed food, bought meat at the butcher, fresh bread up at the bakehouse, grew our own veges, got eggs from our own chooks and we still managed to eat very well thankyou and have probably much more fun as kids than the current kids who spend all their time on technological pursuits and rarely see daylight!. Women mostly didn't work but stayed home and had kids and cooked us nourishing meals [not that I'm saying women shouldn't work - I did for 43 years but I wasn't lucky enough to have kids]!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes!. When cigarettes were 36p, Mars bars were 8p and you got 6p back on lemonade bottles!. We were allowed to stay out in the sun, smoke, eat what we liked and leave the house at night without fear of getting stabbed!.
