As one who was living when Dr!. Einstein made this remark, this one can tell you that the United States has changed greatly since the time Dr!. Einstein came here seeking political asylum from Nazi Germany!.

There was time when one left the front door of ones home unlocked without fear!.

One did not worry if one left ones keys in the car!.

One knew his or her neighbors by first name and maintained friendly relations with them!.

Parents were actively involved in the development and growth of their children!.

Person volunteered their time and effort as well as their money!.

Television was a rarity, movies were a treat and radio was "AM"!.

The citizens of the US and the society they compose has changed greatly and, sadly, not for the better with a steady decline in moral behavior and beliefs!.

This was once a much more united country then it is today, as well as a much more caring nation!.
