She has a point!. Maybe it's this way because the people among us who actually get anything done have our noses down and we're working, while those who can afford to be do-nothings wander around aimlessly with bright smiles on their faces, being "positive" and contributing nothing!. Real life is about solving problems, not coasting through happily!. But let there be balance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do not know who taught Susan Jeffers but I certainly do NOT believe that negative equals realistic and positive equals unrealistic!. It is a very pessimistic approach to life and I for one would NEVER advocate it!. Is she saying that one with a negative outlook is being realistic while another with a positive outlook is being unrealistic !? Or is she saying that it is unrealistic to be positive !? No Sir, not for me !! Norman Vincent Peale ("Positive Living") would probably freak out if he heard this one!. I say, 'think positive, talk positive, act positive, associate only with those having positive outlooks AND your reality will also become positive'!. As yee think so yee be!. It's easier to be pessimistic and blame someone else for the problems of the world, than it is to take responsibility for fixing them!. If you don't acknowledge that good things can happen, you don't have to take ownership of the results!.
