Question: Do we really waste time when we are waisting time!?
Why are we always in a hurry to go somewhere or do something that we say that "it needs to be done"!? Where are we going!? To our graves!? Let us watch the clouds and listen to the buzzing of the bees that visit the beautiful flowers in our gardens!.
Thanks so much for waisting your precious time answering this question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Waisting time can be gaining time!
I do need time for myself!.
I must have time to think solely!.
It's time to define the new era!. Our faith has been shaken!. We've lost confidence in our leaders and in our institutions!. Our beliefs have been tested!. We've discredited the notion that the Internet would change everything (and the stock market would buy us an exit strategy from the grind)!. Our expectations have been dashed!. We've abandoned the idea that work should be a 24-hour-a-day rush and that careers should be a wild adventure!. Yet we're still holding on!.
And what about myself!? What do I really feel and want out of my life!?
Just live day after day, doing what I am suppose to do, is it an answer!?
I only can fill these blanks, if I take time from my routine and do something for my dreams, wishing a better world, caring for the people
around me!.and going back toward my past expectations!. Days pass, nature is loosing, its privileges, the world is changing so rapidly and
would I be only an expectator!? Don't I deserve to do something for myself and the people I do really love!?
This is gaining time = gaining true life, I think!.

Yes, the idiom: Hurry up and wait!.

We rush only to be stuck in long lines, to languish in waiting rooms, to vegetate in traffic or worse to be silenced by the call waiting feature, all for no apparent reason!.

I can see how critical it is for an army to be well prepared for sudden events!. Perhaps we could call the rush a respect for short lives, anxious to be prepared or basic appreciation to things done in a timely manner!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.A long time ago I read of a science fiction writer who addressed a learned gathering and described his day spent making a couple of calls, walking down to the Post Office to send a letter, having lunch, chatting with a neighbour, calling his agent and doing a spot of pruning of his roses!. He concluded at the end of the day that man's highest purpose on earth is to spend his days buggering about!.

Bravo!

I also have a notice that says "When this man is sitting gazing out of his window, he is the most valuable man here because he is the only one thinking!. Do not interrupt this critical activity!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is so important for humans to have time to relax!. And here I do not just mean weekends away or the like!. In the '80s it became vogue in the UK, to scrap tea and lunch brakes!. This was a terrible mistake for two reasons:

1 Individual productivity plummets after 2 hours of work!.
2 Stress rapidly increases after 2 hours of work!.

These are cosing billions in money and lots in personal life!. WHY!? I hear you cry!. If a person is tired then they make mistakes, slow down and not make the best decisions!.

Stress cause 80% of all illness (NHS figures) This is billions in £s!.

So lets all waste a little more time and become healthier and more effective!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's like; Hurry up and wait!
There comes a time in ones life where this all comes to a screeching halt!. Then you just sit and watch the world go by around you! You're not 'in the loop' anymore! But you've got plenty of time to smell those roses, if you can get to them! lol! (I'm not that old yet, thank God!) I can still get to the roses! lol!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all it is the judgement of a third person who will tell this to you if they do not happen to see any result out of your activity/activities!.As far as you yourself is concerned you are not wasting but spending time on something which you want to achieve!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nothing is wasted!. You are right!. As long as we see the wonders of Nature, as long as we take a stroll watching children playing and laughing, as long as we can be lazy and sit in a rocking chair by the porch, no time is wasted!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
