Question: Question about the human condition (Jungian)!?
There was once a tribal story teller who was asked what would happen if he died before he told the tribe all of his stories!. He said they would dream them again!. My understanding is that Jung also suggested that the reason cultures have so many versions of Cinderella from so many cultures is that humans are wired that way!. I believe you are referring to what Jung called the Collective Unconscious - the repository of all the religious, spiritual, and mythological symbols and experiences of human kind - that is within all of us!. We all tap into this repository through dreams, archetypes and intuition!. So, the many Cinderella stories has tapped into some kind of universal archetype housed in all of humanity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's probably related to Jung's belief in archetypes, which he taught were part and parcel of the Collective Unconscious, which is shared by all humans!. So that's where you might want to start to look!. A few websites to get you started:
