There might not be any right answer, but the question better be logical and it better be sensible, unless it was posted to reveal a conundrum!.

That seems to be the mentality because it is sometimes quicker and easier to debunk the question with simple thoughts than answer it with thorough details!. That's exactly why simplistic children are adorable, but it stops being cute for serious adults!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is not about challenging the question, it is about answering the question!.

The problem with the answers of questions is that when you are dealing with the "really big questions" (Why are we here!? Is there a god!? Will the Saints ever win a superbowl!?) you have to expect a variety of approaches for how to answer the questions!.

This "how" is what comprises the various popular and also rather kooky philosophies we have in practice today!. There are too many to mention, there is often no correlation between them, and there is no sure way to argue that one is superior to another because they are usually constructed to leave enough ambiguity to allow for nearly any number of exceptions to the rule!.

It is funny how many people misunderstand this very simple aspect of philosophy; questions have NOTHING to do with philosophy!. A philosophy will determine how any quesiton is answered!.

For example: a person strictly adhering to a fundamentalist christian philosophy will answer any question in a way relating to what they learned from the Bible!. A person adhering to a Freudian philosophy will answer questions (about people, for example) with reasoning related to our motivations (most notably our sexual motivations)!.

There certainly is a lot of off-based ideas here on YA in the philosophy section, but you don't need to pass any tests to contribute, so I can't really complain!. At the end of the day, talking philosophy is still an interesting endeavor, and can be useful for picking up nearsighted chicks with B!.O!. in coffee shops; if that's your kind of thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No there aren't any right answers!. But there are answers that are dictated by nature!.

I myself find a teacher to be worthless unless the teacher has challenged the students to question the teachers teachings!. They need to think for themselves, not be thought for by a single entity!.

This also applies to philosophy!. You form your own answers!. No one likes a copycat!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Philosophy is about coming to terms with the fact that we see, judge, and think about things through the eyes of the collective humanity!. If we choose to go further, philosophy will attempt to squeeze out of our mental capacity the sight, judgment, and thoughts of others until we are left with those that are truly and purely ours!. I hope that made sense!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Like ya I agree with the last dude!. For realz, philosophy is all about the growth of an answer girl!. If ya dont know the answer then you have to make one!. Right, its how we build our thoughts in all reality!. Putting together this massive jenga tower til everyone can recognize its a jenga tower!. right!. hahah you following me chap!. If you "challenge a question" then your like making a question!. u see!. If your going to say that a question is going to fight you then how can you fight a question!? A question has no solitude its like fighting air!. just its imaginary air that our minds think is a jenga tower!. Take my lessons and do what you want with them!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
