Question: How do you view your life!?
In my mid to late 20s, I see my life like an upmarket cocktail party!. Let me explain!.!.!.!.

Everyone is my age or younger, all rushing around having a great time!. People stop to talk to me for a few minutes but never stay for long!. I am always on the fringe and never make any substantial friendships or relationships!.

I get a lot of offers, but never realise when they are bein made!. So while the music is loud, the others all happy laughing and merry, I am in the corner with my legs crossed!.

Anyone else see their life in a less depressing manner!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know exactly what you mean!. I'm sorry to say that I see my life in an equally depressing way lol!. Since school, I've always felt like an "observer" just floating alongside everyone else!.

Retrospectively, I realise just how many opportunities I missed (relationships, friendships etc!.) - things I wasn;t even aware of at the time!. When people say to me "oh but he really liked you", or "you were really popular at school", I actually had no idea of these things at the time and struggle to come to terms with that "person" now! I guess I felt more mature, even superior to my peers, but I think it comes down to being more cynical than most!. I have a tendency to over-analyse my actions and be critical of myself, and this inevitably makes me hold back in many areas of life!.

What I've noticed about other people though is that they merely "act" closer to each other and are more open about expressing their feelings!. In short, many people are fickle and don't mean much of what they say!. I'd never say "I love you" unless I truly meant it, for e!.g!. I won't just shove it at the end of an e-mail to any old person like some do!.

However, I'm content now as I've made sense of the reasons why I am the way that I am!. At least I have integrity and depth - which are hard to come by in today's world!

Well, you are young and hanging around people even younger than you!. You seem very mature for your age and maybe you should associate with older or more mature people!.

Try to be more observant of the WONDERFUL things happening in your life!. Really, look around!. Notice the blessings, concentrate on them, be thankful for them and more will come!. I started doing this and realized that miracles (I'm serious - supernatural things) were happening in my life!.

It sounds like you view your life as superficial, so raise the stakes!. Get involved!. Do volunteer work!. Meet people like YOU!

Just asking this question let's me know that you are going places!.!.!.big places!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When I was in my twenties, I was enjoying my job and partying a lot, but something was missing in my life!. At a time of crisis (someone close to me with cancer) a Christian shared the gospel with me and I received Christ as my Lord and Savior!. That was almost 30 years ago!. The Lord has been faithful to me and blessed me more than I could ever imagine!. If you are interested in asking the Lord into your life, here are some Bible verses that may be of help: Romans 10:13, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, John 3:16, Proverbs 3:5,6!. Well, I guess most of us lived the 20's in the same exact manner (if you were born like me in 1969)!. I don't see anything "depressing" about it!. As life goes on and we learn to take the "punches" and cherish our "big or small accomplishments", we all change hopefully for the better, our outlook in life!. We brake, we get strong, and so it goes!. At 39 now, as a mother and wife, I look back with a smile in my face and with so much "hope for my family's and my own future"!. The way I see it, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and if you learn to "love yourself" and "forgive your own mistakes", then you have pretty much "not lost" too much in your life!. In my 40 odd years I've witnessed some very ugly scenes, and have more than a few incidents I deeply regret!. For me to retain a modicum of sanity I need to see the humour in my life! Sure it's easy to say but a lot harder to practice!. End of the day true real life for me is one of both joy and sorrow, although my personality tends to gravitate toward sorrow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Via my eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm 23 & I feel like my life just seems to be rushing by faster & faster!
I'm in limbo just now!
I want to apply for the police by the end of this year but I still need to learn how to drive!
I'm engaged to a wonderful man but it just seems our plans get in the way of my career goals &/or vice versa! He is in the police already! It's 1 of the things that attracted us to one another!
They are goals imposed by me because he is 3 years my senior & I want him to enjoy having kids before he is 30!
So I do kinda know how you feel about life but the one thing I alwayus remind myself of is LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT!

I view my life as a series of experiences that I wanted to know about!. The decade of my 20's was not what I consider a fun decade in the least, but I was gaining so much life experience and I was learning to be the person I wanted to become!. I had ideas, dreams, opinions etc!. and I was at liberty to make my own decisions and choices and live the adventure I chose to live!. Granted, some of my choices were not the wisest, but I got to discover that on my own and see events follow based on my choices and then change or adapt what I was doing to go in another direction!. That's a huge thing to recognize in life!. The sooner you realize that YOU hold the key to your life and your adventures and experiences, the sooner your life will take the shape you want it to!.

I don't wait for things to happen to me, I think about what I want to experience and then I find the people, places and things that will help me get my result!. It's a good way to live that way you can experience as much or as little as you like and in the end, you can truly say you lived life on your own terms!

Life is a great adventure that is full of things to experience so think about what it is you really want to know about!. Pick what you want to experience and then start to realize those experiences in any way you can!. Good Luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
