What's with all the Philosophy of Religion questions!? I see we are doing someones homework!.

It is an aposteriori argument for "God's" existence that starts from a simple fact about the world, such as that it contains things which are caused to exist by other things!. Eventually the christian will state that there cannot be an infinite chain of causes, that there must be a first cause, and that this first cause is "God!." The arguments and refutations carry on from this point in many directions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!. Every finite and contingent being has a cause!.
2!. Nothing finite and contingent can cause itself!.
3!. A causal chain cannot be of infinite length!.
4!. Therefore, a First Cause (or something that is not an effect) must exist!.
