Question: Is philosophy like being on the front lines!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Absolutely, it is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Almost completely unlike it I would think (I have never been on the front lines, but my great-uncle was in the front lines at the Somme)!.

About the only things they have in common is that you are faced with the unknown and you have lots of time to think!.

But the nature of the unkowns in both cases is completely different, and in philosophy nobody is telling you what to do or giving you the tools to do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

not really no
except in a way of challenging and defending yourself and your views!? Www@QuestionHome@Com
