Question: Is pantheism really just a form of atheism!?

No it is not but many have thought that some have used pantheism as a cover for their atheism!. I am thinking, of course, of Spinoza!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No it isnt!. It could be considered a form of spirituality without an organised religion base to it!. It cannot be considered atheism because atheism implies that there is no God, sentinent or non-sentient!. Pantheism takes the approach that the universe (and everything in it) and God are one!.

If you look at naturalistic pantheism, i suppose it could be considered like hippy atheism!. But its not really because it contains a spiritual element atheism doesnt have, and if an atheist says they live in harmony with the earth and revere nature and everything else listed on the belief statement (link below) of the world pantheist movement, well then guess what!? Theyre not really an atheist! Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends, pantheism has many variations!.

Most likely, no!. They do believe in a "God"!. Just not a literal, conscious and/or personal God!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!.!.!.pantheists actually follow something or fear something!.!.!.

Atheists couldn't care less!. So what if they don't go to church/temple/whatever!? Nothing will punish them except for maybe society!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, because atheists believe there is no God at all and pantheists believe all of everything is God!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
