Does God care if an Atheist is an Atheist?

Question: Does God care if an Atheist is an Atheist!?

A decent hard working, caring moral person, who happens to be an Atheist dies -- does God punish that person!? If God punishes the person but that person lead a moral life doesn't that make God immoral!? If God doesn't punish the person doesn't that mean God doesn't care if anyone believes in him!? In other words if God is moral it never matters if we believe in Him!. It's my answer to Pascal's wager: what do you think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, "IF" God is actually there, we've got to assume he's not an idiot!. I think he'd be much happier that a good person is surprised to see him, than to have an awful person turn up saying "hey I raped a few kids, but I WAS a priest - can I get in now!?"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think assuming there is a "God" (and a use the quotations because there are different beliefs in play here) He would be hard pressed to supply us with the gift of intelligence and then be upset that we use that intelligence to doubt something that there is no tangible evidence of!. Actually, the God I believe in would be pretty dissapointed that I DIDN'T have doubts!. So much of what organized religion expects us to believe has been carefully orchestrated in order to keep us "in line" so how can we believe what organized religion tells us about God!? To me, belief in a higher power comes from you thoughts and feelings that come from within!. In all actuality, if the God of organized religion DOES exist in the way they portray Him, I dont give a damn what He thinks!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Morality is a man thing it has nothing to do with God!. Would your earth Father not care if you showed Him no respect love or cared what he wanted in life!. How much more does God care then man!. God only cares about your motives in life and if you have faith in His over care!. if u think of it in terms of "worship" instead of "belief" (just to make it easier to explain) say you have the best/highest conception of God there is, as close to perfection as possible (totally worthy of worship)!.!.!. who happens to say you HAVE to worship him!.!.!. then you have the exact same conception of God in every way (again totally worthy of worship) except he doesn't really mind if u worship him or not!.!.!. it seems to me that if the two are totally identical, except in one he minds, and in the other he doesn't, (and both ARE worthy of worship) then the one who doesn't mind is even more worthy of worship!.
so to worship is right, because he couldn't possibly be more worthy of it!. but not worshiping is also right, because he doesnt really care one way or another!.
i suppose that means he would rather have more of a relationship with someone than be worshiped by them, where a relationship is something a devout Buddhist or Taoist could also have, even though they don't necessarily think of "God" in exactly the same way!. Buddhism especially, is often consider to be "non-theistic" (not the same as Atheistic or Agnostic) but has a very deep spiritual connection with all living things and the universe!.!.!. etc!.

Did you ever stop and think that there might not be a god!? there are some hard facts out there supporting that when the bible was written it was used as almost a type of government to keep the people from going crazy!. And there is strong support that god is actually a metaphor for the sun!. check out the beginning of the movie Zeitgeist!. its a free movie, you can just search it on Google videos and find it!. if your optimistic and are willing to open your eyes up a little bit, just check out the beginning maybe it'll change your mind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Think of God or the universe as being a source of very fresh energizing water coming from the side of a mountain and its flowing for eons!. You can pass by and drink from the eternal life giving source or chose to pass on!.!.!.!.!.the water still flows eternally and it will will not be offended if you chose not to drink!. when will people realize that its impossible for God to judge!. The twin towers fell because it was destined to happen!. God doesn't make miracles happen right before your eyes!. He makes them indirect!. For me I think that god all wants us to be happy no matter are choice in life may be!. But if you are athesiast you dont believe in go heaven or hell, so I would think that god would kinda have nothing to do with you, becasue for someone that is atheist they believe that you dont go to heaven so there is no asking for forgivness!. I believe that a belief in a higher power is part of morality (humility, or the belief that you are not the greatest thing in existence) on another note I think that if GOD exists then GOD will want you to believe in GOD!. You answer to Pascal's wager is very commendable!. But there are a few thoughts you need to think about!.

Of course he does!. He would not have sent his only begotten son into the world to save man from himself!. And since God is pure holiness no man born in this world into sin!. So even if they lived a moral life their own righteousness in God's eyes is as filthy rags!. Only God through Jesus Christ can give you holiness that will allow them to get to heaven!. God says for man to be as holy as he is!. And if the atheists deny God how then can they ever know what it means to be as holy as God is!. They must be born again of the spirit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not exactly sure why humans continue to 'box" God into what we consider to be very human qualities!. In that (or, if!.!.!.considering the question) God does exist, in the grand scheme of things God would actually "want" nor "desire" anything at all!. Once you consider God already has and is everything, It actually IS the non-believer as well as the believer!.

Hence the terminology to "contain" or "define" God goes null as we use very human emotions to try and make sense of something we can't comprehend!. We are bound by our emotions, intellect (or lack of), circumstances and our mortality as a physical being!. God has none of these boundaries, as it were!. Therefore, God doesn't really "care" about anything, It is just in the business of creation and creation is what It does best!.

As far as "caring", then you could wrap into the argument that most atheists get all wrapped up in:

"If God cared, loved, or was all "good", then why do "bad" things happen!.!.!.!?" - to which I say "blah, blah, blah"!.

Mainly because, God already knows that once something is "created", it will soon pass back into Itself and be "recycled" once again to be created or manifested into a different form!. It doesn't play favorites, She doesn't withhold any lack of creative rights from one energy source to another because that source, say, a shark, decided to eat another one of it's own species!.!.!.bad, bad little sharkie, your energy doesn't get reused!.!.!.and, I cast ye down into the depths of the deepest ocean where, the three tailed demon that has is chained down there!.!.!.and you, yes you all you self-absorbed little bunny rabbits, fornicating throughout the wood and have multiple babies without having a commitment to one another from one season to the next, I damn ye into an eternal abyss of nothingness where you gnash your teeth against brimstone and carry the providence of your illegitimate underlings that you so irresponsibly beget!.

Yeah, all those "rules" apply to a God that "cares" about all the little stuff AS WELL AS, oh, I don't know!.!.!.creating lunar eclipses and making sure the tides continue, making sure the dna still replicates on EVERY living thing!.!.!.don't forget managing the weather, on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN!.!.!.hmm, did I leave anything out!?

Perhaps we should all cease to worry about our own individual "isms" and "ists" and move forward into a sense of caring about ourselves, instead of killing each other over how we think OUR God cares about the "other" believers, or non-believers, or otherwise!.!.!.I think God would "CARE" more about those things rather than eating no meat on certain days, certain TYPES of meat on uncertain days, or eating no meat at all!.!.!.GOD doesn't "CARE" about that crap!.!.!.

however, in our own gradiose version of ourselves and our infinite egos and beliefs of self worth and importance, you know who the only things worry about all the little **** like that!?
