By studying hard and getting to know the topic quite well; by showing an interest in the topic; by making an effort to talk to the lecturer, ask questions, and show an interest to learn more; and by complimenting the lecturer on his lecture: it'll make him feel good, and he'll remember that it was you who said it!. :)
also, by not bragging a lot!. Don't brag!. It's a turn off if he realizes you are bragging!. Yeah throw in a few notable things about you here and there, but don't overdo or else he will realize you are trying to impress him & will think lowly of you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
