Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: hmmm, well I automatically think of space as in what extends beyond the atmosphere of our earth!. But I have recently become obsessed with the song -across the universe- so space to me (at the the moment) means the space beyond !.!.!.us!. I mean what extends past existence, pure thought and emotion and color and sounds and silence and movement and stillness all dying and being born a thousand times over again!. I think of the word om, the universal vibration; if you were to leave the universe, according to theorist, this is the sound you would hear!. I think of emptiness, of course, which leads me to contemplate whether the space is an area for progress, or if the space is something natural which should be experienceed, and left unchanged!. Space means the abyss from -Paridise Lost- a void of confusion, and the same abyss from -His Dark Materials-, only it is a void of love and birth too!. Space for me also is a feeling; that contentment I experiencewhen, even though space surroundsme, I feel no need to move from my position!. Like now, I am sitting by a long hallway that extends over the lower half of my house!. The windows are open next to me, and in the rooms surrounding me, and light and wind is pooling in from all directions!. and I feel content, not comfortable, but happy!. I feel spaceWww@QuestionHome@Com I have one off these hair trapping plates in my bath with equally sized holes!.!.!.!.The other day I observed the water magnifying the centre holes on a much larger scale than the ones that neared the edge as the vacuum was created!. And I believe that the universe with its spiralling galaxies is a succession of vortexs through time and space!. Our view points are situated at the furthest visible spot in the distance, and anything either side of that are slightly closer because from our perspective we observe the panoramic concave image!. And as the horizon looms above that we can then continue to observe this again in another take as far as the eye can see as we tilt our head further and further back we get the feeling we are enclosed in a bubble with limited equipment to get a broader view of things!. Out comes the telescopes, and space craft experiencing the same view points only with more magnification!.!.!.!.!.!.!. Hence we have focused on things at the farthest point only those funny rafia bits at the edges are closer than we think!. And I almost conclude that we are floating at the voids surface tension because gravity does the pulling bits, and the magnetic field does the pushing bits, creating a vacuum!. But since we have a produced a one sided reverse image of things through our concave devices we may be looking at things that are quite possibly back to front, inside out, and the other way around, entirely!Www@QuestionHome@Com In much the same way that time is the expansion of space I think space is the expansion of time!. They are two expressions of the same thing, indeterminable from one another!.
