since everything is always happening all at once,
to me, there is nothing but coincidence!.

whether these coincidences synchronize
into a pattern of meaning that is recognized as kismet,
is a self fulfilling prophesy!.!.!.

choose your own adventure,
if the fate that you read in the cards
suits you and serves to be a wonderful life story
then flow with it!.

sometimes meaningful coincidences are a heads up!.
spirit is alive,

remain mindfully aware of the moment,
no thought

I personally do not like to think it this way!. We are not the victims of destiny!.
Nothing happens by chance!. There is always a lesson or something to learn behind each misfortune!. There is a plan for everyone of us!. There is a power in the world!. Trust that all things are moving toward the good, even when we don't recognize it or see it!.
Recall your past life, you will remember that no experience is wasted!. Most people at the end of life would not even trade in their bad experiences, for they learned from everything that happened to them!. Every experience will move us toward greater good!.
The picture is much bigger than what you can see!.

I like Turtle's answer--it depends on the coincidences--and on the circumstances around them--and on whether or not you get the hint the fiftieth time!.!.!.

I'm always raving about Greg Levoy's book, Callings!. He deals with a lot of stuff people are talking about around here!. He has a whole chapter just on this question!.

There's no way I could cover it here!. But it is very inspiring reading!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A situation seems irresolvable, a vital person implacable, a situation irredeemable, an anger unappeasable, an aggressive foe unassailable, when all paths seem to lead to destruction, then one resigns oneself to an existence and demise!.

An irreconcilable avenger, an impenetrable force field one cannot escape or seek protection of leads to the resignation of the spirit to what is known as accursed ill fatedness
