gossip is like a bullet that you hand to someone with a gun!. you give them the ammunition- their mouth becomes the gun!. they go shooting their mouth off, and people get hurt!. the sad reality is- if someone wants to hurt you badly enough, they'll find (or even make up) the ammunition one way or another!. the only thing you can do is- try to be the best person you can possibly be, don't go around spreading gossip yourself, consider the feelings of others in everything you do- and don't place too high a value in the opinions of others!.!.!. when you place someone else's opinion of you higher than your opinion of yourself, you give them control over you!. they then are able to dictate how you feel, how you dress, how you act and how you react!. the more defensive you become- the more people will attack you!. the old expression is-"ignore them, and they'll go away" and it's true!. most people will get bored if you don't let it bother you (or at least act like it doesn't bother you) if you get visibly upset- you show weakness and give them more incentive to bother you some more!. develop a 'thick skin'!. take things in stride and eventually it'll all get stale and go away!. good luck! I have rarely found any pleasure in gossiping about other ordinary individuals but have myself since a young age been the topic of much scandal and rumour mongering!. I find little people dwell upon the almost nonsensical minutiae of trivia regarding the lives of their fellow likeminded rabbliites!.

Yes gossip is contagious, and loose tongues cost lives’’!. Malicious engineered character assassinations have ruined many an individual and his reputation, destroyed lives!. It is the pastime of the idle chattering classes seeking to enliven their tawdry little lives with titbits of salacious information designed to bring ruination to the standing of others!.

However we live in the age of spiritual darkness and ignorance!. Honour morality and valour are age old virtues!. The media has created rabble of incongruous characters from dubious backgrounds, hyped to give laud to such commonplace lacklustre members of the mob seeking glory, wherein any publicity is good publicity at the expense of respectability who lose their careers and good names for lesser sins!.

Gossiping is sinful and a hienous crime!. Persuing tv or the scandalsheets or being an active participant of the village grapevine is a perverse kind of socialising and communing, and is addictive !.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if the person is in a setting where gossip is being told, it might be expected of he/she to betray another and, slowly, as the individual's tongue utters lies or past incidents, gossip will surely become one of many habits!.
Moreover, since every human has experienced melancholy, they will feel the need of taking revenge on someone who made them feel despondent!. As these feelings evolve, the need for revenge always ensues the human and can turn out to be a useful weapon for gossip, hence the Art of Deceit becomes a manner the person is accustomed to!.
As for Reputation, dear reader, it dies a painful death if the people who heed the rumor happen to be gullible and dislike the person the hearsay is about, which happens in almost every case of rumors!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gossiping about the reputation of a person is a nasty thing to do!. It does not really kill the reputation, it is very annoying though!. I believe it doesn't kill reputation because Truth, beats any gossip!. Truth, shows its face sooner or later and any evil gossip, falls down and turns like boomerang to the one who was unjustly gossiping !. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gossip spreads like poison Ivy!.
Each time a little more gets added, so by the time it reaches the unfortunate that has been gossipped about,
They are inundated with a load of lies and some times very damaging commentary of them selves!.

Of course Gossips can be Stopped!.

Excuse me, my job is gossiping about others to my master!. hee hee!.!.!.!.that's how i get paid mthly mon to fri 825only!. but all gossip usually come from good pple because good pple is more easily to be killed by me and trouble free!. also my master is dumb and dumb based on my evil feedback!.
